7habits is designed to be private by default. This policy explains, in plain language, what happens to your information when you use the app.
Your habit data never leaves your device. 7habits does not have accounts, does not run analytics or tracking, and does not send your check-ins, streaks, name, or any personal information to us or to anyone else. There are no third-party advertising or tracking SDKs in the app.
Everything you enter — your first name, your chosen emoji, and which of the seven habits you complete each day — is saved locally on your device using Apple’s on-device storage. We (the developer) cannot see it, and it is not backed up to any server we control. If you delete the app, this data is removed from your device. You can also erase it at any time from Settings → Erase all data, or export a copy from Settings → Export data.
7habits offers an optional subscription and a lifetime purchase. Payments are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive or store your credit card number or Apple ID. Apple shares limited, anonymized purchase information with us for tax and accounting purposes as described in Apple’s own privacy policy. To validate your purchase, the app communicates only with Apple’s servers using Apple’s StoreKit framework.
If you turn on the optional daily reminder, the notification is scheduled locally on your device by iOS. No reminder data is transmitted anywhere. You can disable reminders in the app or in iOS Settings at any time.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, health data, advertising identifier, or usage analytics. Because 7habits has no server component for your data, there is nothing for us to sell, share, or lose.
7habits is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect information from anyone. As no data is collected server-side, the app poses no data-collection risk to children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new “last updated” date.
