Our approach to privacy is simple: Waiker is built to keep your information on your device. This policy explains how the Waiker iPhone app ("Waiker," the "App") handles information.
Waiker does not collect personal information on our servers — we do not operate servers that receive your data. All app content you create (alarms, squat-mission attempts, streaks, and preferences) is stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's on-device storage.
During an active squat mission, Waiker uses your front camera to count repetitions. Camera frames are processed in memory on your device by Apple's Vision framework and are immediately discarded. Waiker does not record, save, store, or transmit any video or images. Camera access is only requested after the squat mission is explained, and the App works only while you grant it.
Waiker uses local notifications to alert you when an alarm is due. These are scheduled on your device; no notification content is sent through our servers.
Waiker offers auto-renewable subscriptions and a one-time lifetime unlock through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Apple processes all payments and manages billing. We do not receive or store your payment card information. Your purchase status is validated on-device through Apple's StoreKit.
None. Waiker contains no analytics frameworks, no advertising, and no cross-app or cross-site tracking. We do not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA).
Because your data lives on your device, you are always in control. In Settings you can:
Deleting the App from your iPhone also removes its locally stored data.
Waiker is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children. The App involves physical movement and is intended for general audiences who can safely perform squats.
Your data remains on your device and is protected by iOS's built-in security. Because we do not transmit your personal data off the device, there is no server-side store of your information to breach.
We may update this policy as the App evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
